UpcShovDown Wagering Pty Ltd handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account details: name, date of birth, email, phone, address.
• Verification documents: Driver Licence, Medicare card or Passport details, used solely for identity confirmation through accredited providers.
• Financial information: deposit and withdrawal records, payment instrument details (we don't store full card numbers).
• Wagering activity: bets placed, results, communications with our support team.
• Technical data: device, IP address, browser, and how you use our site, collected through cookies you've consented to.

How we use your information

• To open, maintain and close your UpcShovDown account.
• To verify your identity, age and residency, as required by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Act.
• To accept bets, settle wins and losses, and process deposits and withdrawals.
• To detect fraud, money laundering and breaches of our terms.
• To send you transactional emails about your account, and, only with your consent, marketing communications.
• To meet our reporting obligations to the National Consumer Protection Framework, AUSTRAC and the Northern Territory Racing Commission.

Who we share with

We share information with: identity verification providers (such as Greenid and Equifax), payment processors, anti-fraud and AML systems, and regulators on lawful request. We never sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Personal information is stored on Australian-based servers and protected by encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to staff who need it to perform their duties.

Cookies

UpcShovDown uses three categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies keep you signed in, hold the bet slip and protect against session theft. These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies help us understand which pages perform well and where users get stuck.
• Marketing cookies are used to show you relevant promotions across our site and partner sites.

You can change your cookie preferences any time from the cookie preferences panel.

Your rights

You can request access to or correction of your personal information at any time through your account settings or by emailing support@upcshovdown.com. If you're not satisfied with our handling of your information, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Retention

We keep account and wagering information for a minimum of 7 years from your last transaction, as required by AUSTRAC and the NT Racing Commission. Marketing data is deleted within 12 months of your last interaction or earlier on request.
